We’re on a mission to support universities and student unions to improve their student experience by amplifying student voices and being more effective in closing the feedback loop.
Our Story
When I was a student rep back in 2009, I saw a clear disconnect between students and staff based on how student feedback was discussed and acted upon. The process lacked transparency, which led to frustration amongst my student cohort and made it a struggle to gain representative feedback from my peers as a rep.
In my 3rd year, I decided to do my dissertation on this disconnect between students and staff in Higher Education. As expected, most students experienced similar frustrations from not having their voices heard. However, I was taken back by the amount of effort, time, and investment the staff placed on listening and engaging with student feedback.
Between the students wanting their voices heard and the staff trying to engage with student feedback, it was clear that the issue was the communication methods.
This discovery led us to embark on a journey to seek a new way to bridge the gap between students and staff and enable them to effectively share and act on feedback in a more timely and transparent manner.
